Easy hill run

So nice to go for a run that is not part of a training plan. Just running to run. Running to get the soreness out of my legs. Running to feel the misty morning air on my face 2 hours before the sun comes up. Running hill repeats but enjoying the walk down the hill without any focus on how many I will complete. Running without a watch. Ran over with the group at a nice pace and did 4 hills and ran back with a couple other guys at a nice pace. Last mile was about an 8:15 and it felt good. Bottom of my left foot is a little tender but other than that I should be back full strength within a week. Am thinking about doing a long run this weekend with the group who is training for the New Orleans Marathon. So glad I am not training for it. Total miles today about 6. What a great time of year it is in so many ways.
